God has been Faithful! For His glory.
During this time we have learned: God is the one in charge. We can make sure that 2024 is going to be better.
Beloved brethren, it is a great privilege for us to be a living testimony of the faithfulness of our God. It is a great blessing for us to see firsthand how God works through the church for His glory.
It is a great blessing to be able to conclude this year by the grace of God with exciting news to share with you, my brothers. In the year 2023, we have witnessed the faithfulness of God in our lives and in our ministry. That is why we praise and exalt God at all times, even in times of trial, giving Him glory because we know that He has everything under His perfect control. We thank you so much, for your tremendous support that you have provided and for showing us the love of God through your actions.
In this 2024, we simply want to ask you not to cease praying for us, for the following reasons: ministries, and projects that we have as a church, all for the glory of God.
OUR INSTITUTE: Currently, we have 3 students, 2 in the first year and 1 in the second year about to graduate. We gather every Saturday to study various subjects such as Expository Preaching, Hermeneutics, Doctrine, and History. Please pray for Sergio, José Luis, and Asael.
OUR DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS: For each new believer, we provide follow-up through a discipleship program that starts with the basics and gradually covers different topics. We ask for your prayers so that each brother can complete the entire series consisting of 6 books.
CHILDREN'S DISCIPLESHIP: We also request your prayers for a new project in 2024, focusing on discipling children through a 12-lesson material. Pray that many non-Christian children can attend and believe in the gospel.
LEADERS: There is a need for leaders in our church. Pray that God raises up men who can prepare themselves and become part of the leadership, promoting a plurality of elders.
REHAB CENTER: Additionally, God has given me a ministry in the annexes (Rehabilitation centers for alcoholics and drug addicts). Pray for wisdom for me to be a source of edification for this vulnerable sector in society.
OUR THEOLOGICAL VISION: May God grant us a solid theological vision to remain centered on the gospel and thereby reach the people around us.
TLAXCALIXTLAHUACA: In a small town in the Sierra de Guerrero, 4 hours from Pinotepa, with approximately 1800 inhabitants, where people are not open to the gospel due to religious intolerance, God has sent us to preach. Please join us in prayer for this place, especially for those who have believed: Asuncion, Celestino, Anmy, Antonio, Francisco, and Martín. Pray for God's grace towards the people there and for the necessary resources for our trips.
We deeply appreciate your attention to our needs and your support in various ways. We sincerely wish that we can live this year 2024 for the glory of God, and may His grace comfort us in every moment in this new year.
