STM Tehuacan, Mexico in Jan 2023
DI is leading a team to Kenya on Aug 13-31. Our last trip was 2019! So we look forward to working with Manee Kenya whom we knew since 2009!
We will be visiting the ETS classes there and also has a graduation on Aug 26. We will also meet up with Pastors and Leaders from Kenya, Uganda, Congo and Tanzania. Many have been taking the course through Zoom.
Thank you for your prayer and financial support since 2001. Many of you have partnered with me from the beginning. I praise and thank God for each of you.
I had another privilege to do a STM Tehuacan on Jan 8-22, 2023. We are quite a big team of 17: 2 from Vancouver and 11 from Manitoba, and 4 from Roca Blanca. We met up with our local staff Ismael and his team. Everyday we had our devotions and prayers before we went Door to Door in different places working with 12 local Pastors plus we had about 7 interpreters as well. That means we had 7 groups daily. We shared the testimonies and Bridge. We also asked the people how we can prayed for them. After lunch we sang Praises to God and shared about the people who accepted Christ. All were divinely appointed by God.
Last year, we went to an AA Rehab Centre and it was totally unexpected. Pastor David and others continue with the ministry there. We gave our testimonies and shared the Bridge Illustration and many accepted the Lord Jesus. We were also able to give bibles and tracts to them. Even their countenances were changed from hopelessness to Hope. They were more relaxed and talking as if their burdens were rolled away (Matt 11:28-30) Please pray that the new converts are being discipled by Ismael and his team. They have good rapport and work together with the Pastors there. Many of them are church planters as well.
This trip was very unique as God reviewed to us the labour of our DI Ministry in Mexico especially Tehuacan since 1999. Last year I met with Pastor Francisco and his wife whom I knew 20 years ago. This year God gave me another surprise!! Meeting Elizabeth!
Thinking about these highlights brought tears to my eyes as I see the steadfastness of God and His Faithfulness. (Lam 3:22- 23)
These pictures showed our work in Tehuacan 20 years ago. We all looked so much younger! The Highlight was me meeting Elizabeth at her church. Her husband is the Pastor and she worked Full-time. She recognized me and said she met 20 years ago. She was one of the graduate from our first badge of ETS in Tehuacan!! Glory be to God for her faithfulness. The top left showed E and me. The top left photo showed a special church where we prayed together so long ago. Now there are 5 pastors and Missionaries that came out from the photo. The right middle photo showed Pastor Francisco when I met him in 2022. He’s also in the top right photo in a red shirt.
When I came back it was Mission Central at Convention Centre. DI had a booth there to connect and introduce ETS as well. This photo showed my graduated students sharing the Gospel through the Bridge booklet to workers who came with the children. We are thankful for the divine appointments.
I still have my Staff Book study (going through the Book “Do you believe” by Paul Tripp) , Be Ye Transformed group (2x/month), 2/3 Wednesday Prayer Meetings, and keeping in touch with past students through Book Study or just prayer times.
I also started a Book 1 in person in New West and also leading a Book 4 on zoom. In between I had a few medical and dental issues these few months. In Feb, my friend helped me packaged and gave out 200 Valentine Cards with tracts. The responses from the girls were so heart warming! I am still giving out cards daily wherever I am.

Ongoing Stability and Healing for my Retina Degeneration (as I do have difficulty driving on dark and rainy nights) and C5-7 Bone Spurs and deal with Sjogren’s Syndrome (just diagnosed in Mar. Overall Good Health to serve God.
