Update from Shiela in the Philippines: April 2024

Praise God for His goodness and faithfulness in my life and in the ministry here in our church!

We finished book 4 on January 20, 2024, and we are praying to have books 5 and 6 in Tagalog soon, Lord willing.

I am also happy to inform you that aside from discipleship, I am handling 100+ youths from our daughter churches coming from different remote areas; some of them walk 3-6 hours just to attend youth gatherings, and we have fellowship every 2 months. Praise God because last March 28–29, 2024, we held our first youth anniversary. Glory to God! Thank you for your prayers and financial support for God's work here in our church. Continue to include us in your prayers as we are experiencing El Niño here in our province, ranging in heat from 36 to 40 °C. Our root crops and other sources of income like corn and peanuts did not survive due to the extreme heat. But God is gracious and merciful; He will not let His children suffer. I know He will make a way for this crisis. Thank you. Your prayers are much appreciated.
