Valdemar’s Update July 2023

We had special evangelistic activities in July from the 3rd to 14th in Monterrey...

Jason, Stephanie, Madison, Hudson, Sandra, and Mark came from Canada to Monterrey, and Rafael and his son Asael came from Pinotepa for this Mission trip. The Local team was made of Irma, Carmen, Mimi, Pamela, Cesar and Valdemar.

We went to four prisons in companion of the Sowers of Hope Prison Ministry: Two Prisons for Adult Men, one for women, and one for Adolescents. We shared the Gospel with them, we brought them food, Bibles and tracts.

We went sharing the Gospel door to door with three Baptist Churches: Jesus Christ is the Lord, El Jordan, and Kadosh, with temperatures close to 40 degrees Celsius.

We also organized a football tournament at the hotel, with about 20 young men to whom we shared the Gospel.

This time, we went to the Monterrey’s downtown, to a street called Morelos, which is the busiest for pedestrians, and Mark was sharing the Gospel, translated by Mimi and Cesar.

In this Mission Trip, we gave away, not only New Testaments to the new believers, but in some occasions full Bibles, those were offered by Sowers of the Word Ministry, and, when it was required, we gave away audio Bibles, sent by our director Travis.

We give thanks to our Heavenly Father because there were 120 new believers in total, from prisons, door to door evangelism, and street preaching, and we also give thanks to all the ministries that supported this evangelistic activity in a very valuable way.

"So I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over a sinner who repents." Luke 15:10
