Valdemar’s March Update 2025
I thank our Heavenly Father for you, for your lives, for your faithfulness to the Lord and for your great support for our ministry Discipleship International Mexico.
There have been many people from the Jesus Christ is the Lord Baptist Church, who have graduated from the ETS series and in this month of March another group will be finishing with participants from this church and brothers from the state of Oaxaca.
We are also with a group in Book 2, with participants from the coast (Puerto Escondido and Jamiltepec) and from the central region of Oaxaca.
We continue to follow up on Discipleship International Cuba. In the month of January, thanks to God and your support we were able to bring to Mexico the director of Discipleship in Cuba, he is Pastor Onel Pardillo and the leader of Discipleship from another church in Cuba, her name is Yura Lache. Only God could make this trip possible because it is very difficult for a Cuban to leave their country legally. They were able to receive practical training in what evangelism is with The Illustration of the Bridge.
In June, if God allows it, we will be on a missionary trip to Cuba again. Groups from two churches will be graduating from ETS, and we will also be able to share the Gospel in that country. We also intend that every day our Cuban brothers will be practicing what they have learned in their Discipleship classes.
We are also about to start ETS teachings through the Zoom platform in the Dominican Republic, because June and George found a contact who wants the teachings.
In January we were on the Tehuacan 2025 missionary trip. For two weeks we were sharing the gospel with a team of 13 Canadians, two Cubans and four Mexicans who went from Roca Blanca and Monterrey, in addition to the team in Tehuacan and the members of the participating churches. Hundreds of people made professions of faith, hundreds of New Testaments and dozens of Bibles were distributed.
This missionary trip was one of the best for me, since the Cubans were able to come, but also one of Irma's sisters and her niece joined the group of evangelists and also made a profession of faith. In addition, one of my online students from the city of Puebla had the first graduation of his ETS group after finishing the six books and we were able to attend, thank God for the life of Jesus Zarate and his disciples.
I also tell you that at the invitation of Tom and Lisa, we were able to visit George and June in the month of February. The joy of being able to be with our brothers for two weeks was wonderful, many memories of the missionary trips, many plans, many teachings, also a gastronomic experience with June in the kitchen and receiving from George those words of affirmation that he always has for those who visit him. We pray for our brothers who are in this tribulation, that our Heavenly Father provides them with everything they need each day.
Irma and I never thought we would be in a place where the temperature was -23 degrees Celsius, an experience that, as Travis warned us, was a shock to discover something totally unknown to us. Thanks to George and June for their hospitality and to Tom and Lisa for their generosity.
We also thank the Filipino Evangelical Church, who through Noel and Venus Esperanza invited us to share about making disciples. And the truth is that they encouraged us. In the photo you can see some of those who have graduated from this church at ETS.
Brothers, my wife and I thank God very much for all the support that you generously give us in prayer and financially, may our Heavenly Father bless you greatly every day of your lives in your family, ministry and work.
Receive warm greetings from,
Irma & Valdemar
