Valdemar’s Update December 2022
We thank our Heavenly Father for all his blessings in our life and ministry, and for all the provision of our brothers in Canada who support us in prayer and financially.
December was a month off the Discipleship groups, but we were able to visit some of the groups that we have in the country, such as those in Roca Blanca, where we have 2 groups: One is taking Book 3 and the other one is taking Book 4.
In January, we will visit the Wiebe Missionaries in January, who are in Chihuahua and we will be able to encourage them; they are currently studying book 3.
From November 29th to December 10th, we went on a Missionary trip as a team from 4 different places: Canada, Puebla, Oaxaca and Monterrey.
In addition to this team of 14 people, we worked together with local churches in Pinotepa, Oaxaca, Tehuacan, and Tlaxcala. In Pinotepa, we shared the Gospel in the streets, door to door, at the Plaza, and we attended the “ETS” Graduation. We also went to Rehabilitation Centers, and there were baptisms at the river.
In Tehuacan, we were also sharing on the streets, and in the houses. We went to Tlaxcala and we also attended to another ETS group’s Graduation. And one part of the team went to visit the Prison to share the Gospel.
On the other hand, the date of the missionary trip to Cuba has already been defined, the plane tickets have already been bought and we will fly directly from Monterrey to Havana. We leave on February 9th and return on February 23rd. Our host will be the Pastor of the Shalom Baptist Church in Havana: Pastor Onel, who is also the Director of the Havana headquarters of the Eastern Cuba Baptist Theological Seminary. We scheduled with him a series of teachings on ETS, Seminars and Evangelism practice with Bridge Illustration.
Our prayer is that Our Heavenly Father continues to greatly bless the ministry of Discipleship International as well as Discipleship International Mexico, and the different work teams that teach the ETS material, obeying the Great Commission that Our Lord and Saviour Jesus left us.
Sincerely,
Irma & Valdemar Sanchez
